Your ceilidh

Our standard ceilidh package includes our 4-piece band (accordion/caller, 2 fiddles, and guitar) plus our own sound system. Our expertise is in creating a fun and lively evening of dancing. We can tailor the size of the band to your event, adding percussion to our line-up to become a 5-piece band. Find out more about adding a percussionist.

Before confirming a booking, we will always issue a booking form, detailing our agreement with you. We ask for a deposit to confirm your booking.

Da Hooley has an expert caller to ensure your guests can enjoy taking part in your ceilidh. We’ll tailor the dances/calling to the ability of the people attending your ceilidh.

Da Hooley ceilidh band has many years of experience getting folk up to dance, mixing together, and enjoying themselves. We have a professional approach to every event. We have a 100% attendance record, and have never failed to play for a confirmed booking.

We have invested in our own good quality sound system.  We allow an hour to set the system up in the venue before playing. This includes going through a souncheck procedure, to ensure we won’t have issues with feedback while we play, and to ensure that all the instruments and the caller’s voice can be heard clearly throughout the evening. Our Sound system is fully PAT tested.

The band will suit the volume of our music to the venue/situation.

The band has full public liability insurance arranged through the Musicians’ Union
